Please join us in welcoming Rebecca Burroughs, The Literacy Project’s new ESL class instructor! Rebecca is an English and ESL teacher at Battle Mountain High School. She has also served as a part-time adjunct instructor in both English and ESL at Colorado Mountain College. Rebecca is a member of the Colorado Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (CoTesol). She brings her expertise to The Literacy Project as the instructor of our Monday and Saturday ESL classes at the Avon Public Library.

The demand for English as a Second Language (ESL) classes and one-on-one adult tutoring programs provided by The Literacy Project is at an all-time high. In November, The Literacy Project will add a Saturday morning class for ESL learners at the Avon Public Library. The Saturday class will be offered in addition to our four ESL classes already in place throughout Eagle County.
